HELP please- crashed with error message

Hi, my pc just crashed with a blue screen and an error
message PAGE_FAULT_IN_NOPAGED_AREA file causing problem
VSP1284D.SYS
Does anyone have a clue what this means????

A quick search on Google and MS didn't return any result.
It looks like a video system file perhaps. What video card
does the computer have? You might try that website.
Also, try to boot into safe mode (press F8 when you turn the
computer ON), that will by-pass all the fancy stuff that
loads and then you'll know a program or driver is the likely
problem. Then re-boot to safe mode and log the boot or do
it step by step to see which program is causing the crash.
