I just changed my folder icons and came accross a problem taht I can't seem to fix. The folders will not open when double clicked. Also my control panel button on the start menu now opens explorer. I have tried to fix these problems by going into the fol
ders icon in the control panel but I can't seem to change or fix existing actions. what can I do to fix this without reinstally windows.

Hi,
Does 'Search' open up when you double click on a folder ? If so, then type the following at Start >>
Run :
regsvr32 /i shell32
