Modified files history

If a file has been modified from the last configuration,
can I pull up the previous version. And is there a place
on my computer that stores the complete history of dates
and times the file has been modified? I need to dates
and times that the someone has modified the file. It is
an rpt file (report file)

Never the contents unless you or the program copied it (as MSWord can do =
but doesn't be default). If you turn on Auditing you can get info on who =
did what to the file. But not for you as auditing probably isn't on =
(you'd have to turn it on).
