Got a problem with my Harddisk

every time when i try copy some fil to the other HD i
always got this meassage : "Data error (cyclic redundancy
check)" i got the same message when i try to burn
fil with nero. I have a Maxtor 120 Gigs HardDisk
i have try to update the HD but it was no driver i could
use. i hop someone can help me with the problem
