View Full Version : windows keeps re-starting

I am running Window XP and when I turn my computer on and
try to contect to my ISP, I get a box in the middle of my
screen that says (lsass.exe) file has an error and
(NTAUTHORITY/SYSTEM). It then proceeds to countdown for 1
minute and re-starts my computer over and over again.
What can I do to fix it?

You may have a virus....check here

This is caused by malware attack. Enable the Windows XP firewall, then
visit the Windows Update site to install the critical patches that are
missing on your system.

You have the Sasser worm.

First go to Start | Run and type shutdown -a

That will stop it from shutting down.
