What you are describing is a little unusual, but not
impossible. It is more common to load XP on one drive and
somehting different, like 98, ME, 2000 on the other. But,
an XP+XP dual boot is theoretically possible. However,
unless you have two XP licenses, you can not activate both
of them, and the one not activated will stop working in
about 30 days.

As for a potential fix: There is a command called FIXBOOT
that must be run from the XP recovery console. It can
find all indows operating systems on the PC and make a
simple boot menu that will permit you to choose which one
you want to invoke. To learn how to intall the recovey
