Hi this is the 1st time posting to this NG-I've been
reading some about system restore and why its a good idea
to set a restore point-I have only gotten bits and peices
of info as to what this is so I am asking for help with
this:
1) why is it a good idea
2) how do I do it
3) If I have to turn it off temporarily to remove malware
or viruses, do I need to set a new restore point
4) FInally, how can I check to see if one has been set
already-thanks in advance

1. A quick easy way to get the computer back working.
2. Mostly automatic
3. All Restore Points are deleted. New Restore Points will continue
to be created.
4. Go to System Restore and check the calendar.
