I need to rebuild my operating system but I don't know
how to do it. Is there a step by step guide to do this

I am not sure you have a big enough hammer.........;)

What kind of operating system are you trying to rebuild?......;)

Do you need a total rebuild or just a minor remodeling?......;)

Do you have restore disks or original XP disks?

Will be glad to help, but there are many options.
