looking at task manager I have some files in the list
which I would like to have identified. They are:

EjgZXrf.exe
YzbRFx8f.exe
Medianet.exe
OSA.exe
Zlclient.exe

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Chuck,

> EjgZXrf.exe

Virus (trojan, most likely)

> YzbRFx8f.exe

Virus (same thing)

> Medianet.exe

Possibly spyware, but there are many references to medianet, so it is also
possibly legit.

> OSA.exe

Office Startup Application. Normal for users of MSOffice.

> Zlclient.exe

Zone Alarm client.

For the first two, restart the system in Safe mode, delete the file and the
reference in the registry that loads it, most likely found under one of
these keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSConfig\startupreg
