If it is PCI, disable the onboard device in BIOS. Then
install the new card. If it is an AGP leave the driver
installed and install the new card. I would email you but
AOL doesn't allow breaks in the screenname as far as I
know. They always get returned. If you are nervous about
messing with the BIOS; setup a new screenname without
breaks in it and email me it and I'll help.
