Bluetooth Mouse Will not install on laptop with TouchPad

I have a Gateway Laptop with a TouchPad Mouse. When I try
to install the BlueTooth Mouse I get a Message that I need
to uninstall the TouchPad. When I try to Uninstall the
TouchPad I get Message saying that I can NOT uninstall the
TouchPad. Stuck in a Loop!! Please Help!!
