MY LCD screen is not showing anything at all on my lap tyop. It is a PCG-GRX650 laptop. It is extremely dim and i have tried all F5, F7 and F8 funtions but nothing help. I even tried uninstaling the display adapters and install it again, but still it is ve
ry dim, almost invisible. Does that mean I have to get a new LCD screen installed. If yes, how much would that cost.

If anyone can help that be great.

For hardware failure, contact your manufacturer.

You are likely to find that replacing the LCD on a 650MHz laptop will cost
nearly as much money as a new laptop will cost.

That is right! Laptops LCD are not easily replaced and may be very
expensive.

One possibility: Since the laptop is "old", check on ebay/web so to find
another laptop (same make/model) that you could possibly buy for "spare
parts" or move your hard drive to the "repalacement".
