I have been using the same hp printer everyday for 2
years. Today it does not work. I have tried reinstalling
the printer/driver..updates..deleted the com
port..reinstalled. I am guessing that the port has become
corrupt. What can I do to fix it?

Printers do not normally use COM ports? It may be a parallel prot.

Have yoy check the cable amd connections to see if they are good and tight?
