USB 2.0 driver installation

I recently installed a Belkin USB 2.0 card into my
computer. XP recognizes the driver the first time. THen
on reboot windows will not load up. I called Belkin and
then from their website we tried to install the USB 2.0
driver which was missing. But everytime we ran it,
Windows would produce and error and the installation
would fail? what is the problem??
