During initial startup my computer displays a new screen I
have not seen before. I now have to click on my name to
boot system. I am the only user yet this screen now
appears.
I want system to boot as it did before. What can I do to
accomplish this?

In addition to Thorsten's advice, click Start, Run and enter CONTROL
USERPASSWORDS2 Uncheck the box Users must enter a username and
password......... Click Apply and provide the requested username and
password, if any.
