I have a wallpaper from a .jpg photo.

I want to copy that background to another machine but can't find the
physical file.

Where does XP Pro store them?

I've already done a complete search of the C: drive for *.jpg

Thanks for any responses.

If the pic appears in the Background tab of Display Properties, it can =
be located anywhere here:

sub-folders]
C:\Documents and Settings\<USER NAME>\Application =
