My Gateway notebook has started reading the DVD-ROM once
a second. I uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail.
It doesn't seem to matter what programs are open.
I have even disabled it in Device Manager, and it still
reads the DVD/ROM at the same rate. It disturbs access
and speed to all programs. It only stops if I take it
out!
Any other ideas?
