ShadowText on my Desktop

Hello, i've a question. There are a shadowed Text on my
Desktop. All Icon's have a Balck Shadow. Can somebody tell
me where I can take off this shadow ??

Michael,

To remove the drop shadows do this:
1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.
2. Click on the Advanced Tab, in the area labeled Performance click on
Settings.
3. In the box under Custom scroll down to the line that says "Use drop
shadows for icon labels on the desktop".
4. Click the little box beside that line to place a checkmark in it.
5. Click Apply and wait for the changes to appear. Then click OK to back
out of the boxes.

You should have the results you are looking for now. Hope this helps.
