Desktop Background color

I want to find .. i use to have wallpaper on my desktop
background a while ago and i noticed and amazed that i
dont have any background color under the icon label.. the
background was of picture... what ever it be..
then i use to keep my background blank..
now i want to put back my wallpapers, but i have
background colors... i dont want it..
is there a way? i cant recall what i had done..
please help

Hi,

Checkpoints to consider:

1) Right click on desktop >> arrange icons by >> uncheck "Lock Web items on desktop"

2) Right click on My Computer >> Properties >> Advanced tab >> Settings under 'Performance' >> check
"Use drop shadows for icon labels on desktop".
