It's Empty under View Network Connection

I'm unable to see any connections (it's empty) when I go
to My Network Places/View Network Connection... 9I can't
see my LAN connection, modem connection or even wireless
connection )

I wonder what's is wrong. Does it got to do with my
installing the Service Patch 2 for XP RC1 ?

I hope someone can advise me.
