I dont know how to uninstall windows xp, or atleast wipe
my pc clean. My computer is a bit full up and running
slow because of spywaye and adware, in addition to all
the rubbish I've kept on it from ages ago.

I need to know how to wipe it clean because I want to
start again. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Boot your WinXP CD, start the installer. Hit F8 to agree to the license.
Remove the existing partition, then create a new one from the free space.
Format, let setup continue. This will effectively remove everything on that
partition, so backup anything that you do not wish to lose before you start.
Note that if you use EFS, you will need to backup certs and should create a
recovery agent and test them before beginning.

Hi

If you are sure you what to reformat/reinstall the following article by MVP
Michael Stevens will help you:

"Clean Install Windows XP"
http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html

Although a 'Repair' install might suffice, but you will have to
re-download/re-install the Windows Updates:

"How to Perform a Windows XP Repair Install"
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm
