The best I'm getting in XP with a logitech cordless optical trackman on the
PS2 port is 50Hz. I can't use it on the USB port due to an incompatibility
wiht my keyboard. Any way to change this? I've tried changing the polling
rate in the standard Windows mouse drivers, but it doesn't improve anything.
There used to be a registry setting to tweak in NT. But if I go under
hkey_local_machine/system/current_controlset/services/i8042prt/parameters
there's no "poll rate" setting as there is in windows NT. What's there, is
polling iterations, polling iterations maximum, and resend iterations.
Changing these values doesn't do much to the refresh rate.
Anyone help?
