I physically removed all devices (unplugged the two CD drives and uninstall
Alcohol) and added them back one at a time, rebooting with custom letter
each time. Each time I added a device, it would keep the custom drive letter
I assigned to it. I can't say for sure, but I beleive that the reinstall of
aclohol is what fixed it.
