i got xp pro. i dont know if anything in the services
section would cause it to fail cause i shut off some
services. i have a siig combo pci card with usb 2.0/
firewire/10/100/1000 gigabit. the usb and ethernet work
fine, the usb 2.0 works and can transfter data with the
ethernet connetion but i cant see my exteranl hard drive
with the firewire . the connection doesnt seem to work.
i know the HD works cause i tried then on my laptop and
it work with fire wire
