Error report for files ...... closing down

Today I have experienced a number of slow processing
periods with processing using Windows XP and MS Frontpage
and Word. I keepgean error report in files
D\document\.\locals\.\temp\WER61.tmp.dir00\appcomp at.txt
D\document\.\locals\.\temp\WER64.tmp.dir00\appcomp at.txt
D\document\.\locals\.\temp\WER7.tmp.dir00\appcompa t.txt
D\document\.\locals\.\temp\WERB.tmp.dir00\appcompa t.txt
Can you please help with a possible reason for this and
also a possible solution. Thanks Gary
