I don't understand what it's trying to tell me!

My PC ran a disk check this morning and reported the following:

\Windows\DUMP729e.tmp is cross linked on allocation unit 1025977

I've found the file but have no idea what to do to put it right. Can anybody
advise?

Click on the file itself once.
Hold down the SHIFT key.
Press the DEL or DELETE key.

When it asks "Are you sure?", click on YES.

Rerun your chkdsk.
