There is/are still programs sold to file transfer when U
buy a new computer. Cant one do it with a USB to USB
transfer, getting a USB cord with same gender ends, and
even dropping and dragging, or transfer an entire set of
file folders this way? (no havent tried it, used zip
drive last time, sorta slow....)
TIA

You need a special USB cable to do this, see www.belkin.com
USB requires a networking hub or a cable with a built-in
hub. If you have Ethernet cards in each computer, you can
use a cross-over cable or a hub and standard Ethernet to
setup the connection.

Ethernet is faster.
