Trying to connect Dell 64 meg USB storage device to laptop
running windows xp professional. Hardware instructions
indicate that the device is plug and play and should be
recognized by XP by native support for these devices.
Works on several XP machines, but not the laptop I need it
for. When attached, XP starts the hardware wizard and
asks for a driver (there is no driver for xp, since it is
suppose to have native support).
Any ideas (other than cleaning the hard drive and
reinstalling everthing, starting with XP)?
