To set up a wireless network using 2 different versions
of Windows, you need to make a Network Setup Disk with an
XP machine and use it on the Windows 98 machine. You
should reinstall the network on all of the computer (by
running the network setup wizard(. I had the same
problem with my wired network. Reinstalling the network
should fix the problem. Note: Windows doesn't like some
workgroup names. I have more problems with some
workgroup names than others.
