Are you booting from the WinXP CD-ROM? Is there any other partitions on the
hard drive that need to be deleted? Was the hard drive previously
partitioned with one of those partition-for-dummies utilities?

i am booting from the winxp installation cd. there are no
other partitions on the drive currently, the drive was
once partitioned using western digital's disk utility. but
before xp installation i wipped the drive including the
MBR by writing zeros to the drive.
now i have another problem, i put the drive into another
computer of my and used partiton magic to resize the nfs
partiton and now xp wont boot, i get a flash of a blue
screen of death upon startup and then it reboots. ah.
anyway, if anyone knows how i can go about fixing this
problem by using xp to install on a clean drive and create
a nfs partiton that will exceed the 2012mb cap ive been
getting id gladly start from scratch.
please email me at: with any help.
thanks!!
