CD BURNER

I have a problem with both mt cd burner, and my cd rom
drive. Both cant seem to detect blank cdr/cdrw discs that
i put in the drive. Both drives CAN, however detect game
cds/music cds/and cdr/cdrw discs that are not empty.

I have gotten a few opinions, as well as having one of my
own. Do any of you think that I just need to buy new
drives, re-install xp, or what? If you have any thoughts,
send them to . thanks
