Hi Stan,
I am having the EXACT same problem. Both of my drives
worked one night, then the next morning, they were gone.
No drives showing in the BIOS or in Explorer. AND, my
access light is on constantly too. I've tried everything
but reinstalling XP. I've gone as far as unhooking the
drives and reinstalling them, but Windows will not detect
new hardware either. It's almost like they never existed.
Has your problem started just recently? I've been working
on it for about 2 weeks now. I'm beginning to get the sick
feeling some kind of virus got through my scanner.
