I can't have my PCI to USB ports card working properly
after upgrading from Windows ME to Windows XP Home Ed.
The card is based on the CMD 6738-C01 chip. Windows XP
recognise the card as CMD USB0673. Printer, ADSL modem
etc. are not recognized when attached to the card USB
ports while they work properly when attached to the
mainboard USB ports. I could not locate any CMD support
page on the web. Could someone help me?

Sergio this is from USB Man

Exchange the CMD card for any 5-port NEC-based USB 2.0 card and your
troubles will be gone. *Do not use the scanner and USB modem on the same USB
controller.* If the modem is analog (dial-up), replace it with a PCI modem.

Adaptec, Siig, IOGear, ADS, Maxtor and many others sell NEC-based cards.
