ideas? printer wont respond

[Stumped]

Just installed a Xerox xl2120 with drivers from thier
website and it shows in printers and faxes. When a test
page is run, it shows in the print queue, but nothing
comes out of the printer. Bidirectional printing is
enabled, we are using the cord that came with the machine.
Anyone have other ideas on what we can do?
