compatibility

I currently have Windows ME, however, I received Windows
XP Home with the purchase of another computer. When I
checked to see if it was compatible with my system, it
said Windows XP does not support upgrading from Windows
ME. What do I do? Do I install it anyway? Any help
would be appreciated. Thank You

Believe me ... Any other operating system installed as a replacement to ME
is an Upgrade.

Installing Win 3.1 would be an upgrade to that POS
