Hi, What is a good schedule to defragment. A friend says even if it says no
need to defragment at this time, I should it anyway. Otis

It does not depend on time, it depends on whether or not
you install/uninstall a lot of programs, especially large ones like
some games which are over 1GB. If you do not install much, then
once a month is plenty.
Otherwise, if you are over 10% fragmented, XP will say not
to defrag, but I find it best to and makes things faster
