Reinstalling Windows XP

I recived this error message while reinstalling windows
xp home edition, not sure what to do to get past it.

Error message is

The Signature for Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade is
Invalid the error code is 426
Fatal Error - Setup failed to install the product
catalogs. this is a fatel error The setup log files
should contain more info.

(end of error message)

Any idea how to resolve this issue??
