I have an etower 766 that came with Windows Me.

We were able to play all kinds of games including Grand
Theft Auto 3, before we installed Windows XP Professional
as the operating server.

Ever since the switch to XP the games do not work. I don't
remember the details, but it seams like when I was
upragding to XP a video card or driver and/or sound card
and driver became incompatable.

I would like to know what if anything can be done to fix it
so the games can be played using the XP software or if I
should uninstall it and go back to the Windows ME. If
there are any upgrades for video or audio drivers or the XP
software that may fix the problem I am willing to try them.

If video and audio drivers are incompatible with XP, I'd go to Intels site
and search for:
Audio device Intel 801 Integrated
Graphics -"- Intel DirectAGP 3D

Both are onboard devices
