We have a number of IBM ThinkCentre P4 2.8GHz machines
that are printing to HPLJ8100n printers. When the printers
run out of paper, the XP machines will display an Out of
paper notificaton on the printer. However, when you put
paper back in the printer, it can take a while for this
notification to clear, and the print job to go through.
Is there anything within the system that can be
reconfigured to reduce the polling timeout from XP to
installed printers?
