i have just bought a microphone for my computer. I tried
to use it with different programs and it does not work,
of well. I can record using Windows XP recorder, and it
sounds normal. When I do a hardwear test I get this error
message " error occured during Direct Play Voice Setup
code 0x80004005 " " windows cannot execute DpvSetup.exe
use Add/Remove Programs in control panel to install".
Maybe my sound card is toast? I have looked throuhgt
microsoft web site and have found nothing. Please Help.
