System Restore Problems

I had this happen to me after turning system restore off
to run a Blaster Cleaner program. This is what I did to
get it working again:
hit the windows key plus r (or goto start, run)

type in

services.msc

Then look at the services and find the system restore
service in the Task Scheduler and look at system restore.
It was "stopped" I tried to start it there and it would
error with not autherized.
The services area gives a short explanation on the service
and for system restore says if you want to shut off the
service go to my computer, properties, system restore tab
and check the turn off system restore box.
I checked the box, then Ok. I then unchecked the box and
wa-la. It worked. Before everything looked like it was
running but was not. So I shut it off then back on.
So in a nutshell, turn it off and on it it worked again.
