I've found that if you install a second copy of the Generic / Text Only
printer driver, the second copy produces incorrect output. Particularly when
printing from a web based app. The driver inserts spaces and Cr all in the
document. This seems to be related to the printer name assigned to the
install printer.
ie copy 1 gets the name 'Generic / Text Only'
copy 2 gets the name 'Generic / Text Only (Copy 1)'
If I delete copy 1 and rename copy 2 to the correct name, it works.
Has anyone had the problem and have a solution?
I have a customer who wants to have to copies; serial/parallel.
I've repeated the problem on my machines.
