Until today I could switch users on my machine without logging off. Now it
wont do it without logging off first. Is there a fix for that? I don't use
passwords.

windows updates this is for your security and safety.

Be sure your virus protection has been registered and auto update is
enabled.

I have 5 anti-spyware programs and three anti-virus programs installed and
none detect anything. (All the ones you mentioned have been run)

It culminated with me losing my admin sign-in...had to have the disc
reformatted and reinstalled windows. SOMETHING was wrong!!!
