Hi :)
I have a DSL Router Dlink 604+ and I suspect its blocking
me from using audio and video chat. I found the
following page on ms kb
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-
us;158623 but inspite of opening the specific tcp ports I
still just lock up and have to reboot my modem.
I haven't opened the suggested udp, I am hoping for
advice please on whether allowing udp pass thru for such
a large range (1054-65535) will leave me susceptible to
invasions.
I have the same problem when I try and transfer files
through messenger, and would like to know whether I'm
right in assuming that this is router related.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Thank you.. I went there, but thats a different router.
I think I can work it out from there, but what I dont see
is in the properties for internet connection (first 2
points on that page) msmsgs or anything else showing as a
service. Any help on that please, I know i've seen it
there before, just dont know why its not showing at this
time.
Thanks again
