Hello there,
Hope somebody can help me. I am using XP Home Edition on
my laptop.
I an quite technically inept, and hope someone has some
suggestions that can assist me.
I access the net from two countries - England & Brazil. I
have no problem with internet access in England. However,
when I am on the internet in Brazil, nearly every time I
get a message stating "Windows has received a Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) and will have to restart windows.
Please save all the information. This procedure has been
activated by NT Authority\system.
The computer then shutsdown and re-activates itself,
however, any information not saved has been lost.
How can I stop this happening?
Any suggestions and help would be appreciated.
Many thanks, Paul

>.If this is a msblaster file why would it allow your
computer to work fine in England but not in Brazil to me
it shouldn't work in either country, but remote control
procedure can be found by going to start ,run and typing
in msconfig go to the tab services and check the first
box which says R.C.P if that doesn't fix it take the
check off again.
