How do I log on as Administrator to my computer. I am, and have always
been, a single user (no network) with Windows XP Professional.

A step in trying to remove a worm, says to disable "System Restore" option,
and in order to do this I need to be logged in as Administrator. Apparently
I am not since the System Restore tab does not appear when I click on
Properties for My Computer, as stated in the Norton/Symantec procedure I am
following.

I also do not necessarily want to type in passcodes each time I start my
computer.

Thanks,

Henry

At the Welcome Screen press Ctl-Alt-Del twice when you should see the old
W2K style log0in box appear. Type "administrator" (without the quotes into
the Username field, and leave the password blank unless you know
differently.

Hi Henry

Press Ctrl-Alt-Del twice at the Welcome screen to access the Administrator's
Account.
