HELP with upgrading

i am trying to upgrade from windows 98 se to windows xp
and i get this error everytime i try to install windows

Unsupported Hardware Configuration

video card &

HOW DO I FIX THIS PROBLEM??

Replace your Windows XP incompatible video card with one
that is Windows XP compatible.
