I upgraded a Win98 system to XP over a year ago and have
had very few problems. Just two days ago, in an attempt
to perhaps improve performance, I converted the 30G WD c:
drive (only hard drive in the system) to ntfs using the
convert c: /fs:ntsf command... now suddenly the system
will hang at random every 2 minutes to 2 hours... 15
times today alone!

Windows update says machine it totally up to date. Did a
scandisk (thourough) and a defrag, but no joy.

Tore apart the entire system and cleaned out all dust and
reseated all connectors and cables (even memory dims).
Just hung a moment ago.

Suggestions?!?!?

Thanks!

Jim
