I have an HP LaserJet 6P. It is plugged into a Belkin 54G
wireless router via an AsanteTalk device that adapts the
serial cable from the printer to an ethernet cable.

I've been able to "see" and print to the HP Printer with my
Macs for a long time. But I now have a Toshiba Laptop PC
hooked into my home network and I can't get it to see to
the printer. The Toshiba does see the router because I'm
able to email on the Toshiba and the Macs can see the
Toshiba on the network.

Looking for help to enable the Toshiba to print to the HP.

Thanks very much.

You will need to install a driver with will allow the AsanteTalk device to
be "seen" on the Toshiba (XP). I do not believe that such a drive is
available.

Another solution was to find a networkable print server device which can be
seen by both MACs and PCs. These type of print servers provide an RJ-40
network connect and allows you to connect a parallel printer to the network.
