Hi,

I have a SONY VAIO GRX5P laptop.
It is running Windows XP. I use a USB mouse and keyboard
(logitech) and know that all my USB ports work.
I just bought a PSX to USB converter so I can use gamepads
from my playstation 2 on my PC.
The adaptor is a "Super Dual Box" from www.mayflash.com.
It is supposed to work without installing drivers. When I
plug it, either Windows doesn't acknowledge that I plugged
it, or just says it's an unknown device, with no driver
installed. When I try installing drivers that will enable
force feedback, the install runs smoothely, but nothing
changes. I get the same error messages.

I hope some of you can help me out!!

Kristian

Try deleting and unplugging the device, install drivers, reboot, then plug
in the device.
